Edward F. Drohan,
President
Business Development
Services of New York was founded in 1988 to address the technology
procurement and service support requirements of large organizations.
Since our inception, the primary focus of BDS has been in the area
of vendor selection and vendor management within the Information
Technology field.
In 1992, BDS
played a critical role in the formation of the New York Technology
Roundtables where several of the leading financial organizations
in the Wall Street area gathered to define challenges and share
solutions on a "Best practices" basis among the participants. As
an independent consultant and co-founder of this group, Mr. Drohan
played a critical role in the formation and future direction of
this highly respected organization.
Today, BDS continues
this tradition of documenting and analyzing independent perspectives
on the critical issues facing technology procurement and management
in large organizations. This information is available through both
commissioned and independent industry studies as well as consulting
assignments.
