BDS has conducted independent studies within the Information Technology industry since 1994. The first studies were sponsored by The Banker's Trust Company to provide valuable feedback to member organizations on emerging trends in technology procurement. Participating organizations included major financial service companies in the New York Wall Street vicinity and several Fortune 500 companies headquartered throughout the Tri-sate area.

Later studies were commissioned by Fortune 100 organizations to validate their Information Technology procurement and support strategies. While BDS does continue to accept commissioned studies our primary focus is independent industry analysis. We believe this independence allows BDS to better serve the requirements of all participating organizations.
